David Chin is the Vice President and Co-Founder of Traditions Wealth Partners, Inc. David started his career in 1973 in corporate finance. He enjoys working with clients on a family basis and soon found that in order to best serve his practice, he would become an independent advisor. Through this independent approach, David is able to provide transparent fundamental solutions to each of his clients.
David was born in Yonkers, NY, but has lived in the Capital District since 1968. He resides in East Greenbush, NY, with his wife Cherie where they raised their children Brittany and Brendan. Brittany is a Syracuse University Graduate and owns her own dietetic practice in Greenville, NY, where she resides with her husband Trevor, son Cassian, and dog Lilly. Brendan is the Co-Founder of Traditions and resides in Cicero, NY, with his wife Erin, dog Gretzky, and cat Jagr. When David is not spending time with his family and playing with Cassian, he enjoys attending hockey games at his Alma Mater, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute ’72, with Cherie. David’s other hobbies include spending time outdoors on their property, swimming in the family pool, and driving his ’53 MG TD and ’74 Triumph TR6.
